Claiming Our Children

As I was in the Word one morning, I was reading an old (10+ years) promise (Isaiah 49:22-26) that the Lord had spoken to me regarding my kids being saved. The Lord gave me a vision at that moment of waving a banner that had my son's name on it.

I realized that though I hoped that my son would be saved, over the years it had become more of a wish than true "hoping in the Lord".

Waving a banner has been an expression of my celebration of worship before God. It has become a point of connecting with God's very presence, because after all the word says "His banner over me is love". Having experienced God's power and presence in worship, I saw that putting my son's name on the banner and waving it would be a prophetic statement of what is to come.

As the vision continued, I placed his name on the banner and began to wave it. An impartation came upon me and I saw that I was to bring others in and impart to them what God is doing. I saw them raising banners up; I saw them writing their children's names on the banners. I saw them painting, embroidering or whatever it took to put the names of their children on the banners. The gift of faith rose to a level I've never seen before, and the power of God began to work in prophetic evangelism, and the children were saved. The walls in this place came down, and there were more people than I could count, and the Lord said, "Raise a banner for every child that is named in this country. Prophetically declare the word that is the foundation of this ministry - God Save the Children!"

The word was Isaiah 49:22-26:

This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

"See, I will beckon to the Gentiles,
I will lift up my banner to the peoples;
They will bring your sons in their arms
and carry your daughters on their shoulders.
Kings will be your foster fathers,
and their queens your nursing mothers.
They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground;
they will lick the dust at your feet.
Then you will know that I am the Lord;
those who hope in me will not be disappointed."

Can plunder be taken from warriors,
or captives rescued from the fierce?

But this is what the Lord says:

Yes, captives will be taken from warriors,
and plunder retrieved from the fierce;
I will contend with those who contend with you,
and your children I will save.
I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh;
they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine.
Then all mankind will know
that I, the Lord, am your Savior,
your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

Praise be to God!
