Look Beyond Your Problems

"But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13b-14

It's time to let go of the past. It's time to stop thinking of yourself as a victim, and start focusing on the present and future. Stop dragging that old carcass around.

It's time to put on the mind of Christ. Stop thinking about what "feels" right and good, and start focusing on God's will. It might "feel" right to give up, but is it God's will for you to quit? Sometimes, He does ask us to cut out certain things to free us up for something else. Seek His will for whatever you do or don't do.

Stop crying out, "Help me!" and throwing the pity parties... Instead, start asking, "How can I help others?" It's in the helping others, that you will find help for yourself.

Even if you don't have much to give, give what you do have. God is not asking for us to give what we don't have, only what we do have. He will take our small portion and increase it.

God is saying, "Try Me, and see what I can do with the little bit you have."
