                         Acceptance

I'm not disappointed with you. To disappoint someone you have to do
something different than they expect you to do. I know you...I can
see each minute of your life right now. Not only do I know you, but
I love you just as you are--from your very first moment and on through
all eternity. Everyday you are doing exactly what I expect you to be
doing, so please, hear Me...I am never disappointed in you. Only you
are not happy with who you are.

I want that to stop. The enemy would have you believe you've missed
it or you can't do what you are "supposed" to. Listen, My precious
one, because I do know you. I know how I made you, what I created you
for, what talents and gifts you have and also what weaknesses you have.
You feel like when you aren't getting it 'just right.' You think that
My work stops until you begin to get it "right" again. That is not
true.

I knew that you would be weak in that area and I am able to be
your strength. My work in you, as My promise says, will go on to
completion. That means on the days you are "soaring" with Me as well
as the days you are holed up with an "attitude"--I am still working!

I placed that "spark" in your heart that lights up when you think
about it. Look at that thing that seems "too wonderful" for you; that
you think that only some "spiritual" giant will get to do things like
that because you will never grow up enough to do it. That also is not
true. I am the One Who placed that spark in your heart to come alive.
I lit the fire that will empower you to do and be all that I had in
My heart when I formed you.

I created you unique, specifically able to fulfill the place in all
creation designed just for you. Trust Me, you haven't missed it. My
work is still going on in you. Those I've called don't come already
"ready"--I make them ready, just as I am doing with you. I am empowering
you and releasing in you all that you will need to fulfill the destiny
I created you for.

Just say "Yes, Lord," then trust that I am not just able, but I am
delightedly willing to give you all that you need. My heart is
overflowing with the love I feel for you as I watch you walk and grow.
Each step of trust leads you deeper into My presence, surrounded by
My love.

Come to Me now, I take delight in the experience of all we will do
together.
