Run to the fire
-----

After reading a word called Refining Fire, the Lord showed me a fiery furnace. It was so hot, the air around it looked like molten metal and flames were leaping out of the opening. Fear struck me as I watched it burning. Then I heard a voice call out from within the furnace:

Fear not the fire, Fear not the flames. For I am waiting for you within the furnace. Daniel and his friends feared not the fiery furnace because they saw Me within. Look past the flames and you will see Me standing with arms outstretched. Run to the fire, for it is there that we will fellowship. It is there that the dross will be burned away to reveal pure gold. After our time of fellowship you will reflect Me to others. Be not afraid. See the furnace as a place to fellowship with Me where there will be no distractions. Run to the furnace...I am waiting.

I leapt to my feet and ran as hard and fast as I could past the fire past the flames landing right in the precious arms of Jesus. I sobbed on His breast and He held me tight. I could hear the tears sizzle as they hit the blazing floor. As, I looked at His face I realized that my tears were not the only tears that were hitting the floor. I could see that He was also bearing my pain. I was not going through this alone. Things (cherished sins, unforgiveness) began to come out my pores and seem to evaporate within the intense heat. After a time, He stood me up and told me it was time to go. I realized that I no longer wanted to leave the furnace because it was there were I had experienced the most intimate time with my Savior. He told me to tell others of this experience so they, too would no longer be afraid of the furnace time and would come to experience a special time with Him.

If there are those of you, like me, who have been experiencing trials and sufferings and are not yielding to what He wants to do through them. I humbly share this with you to tell you that if He was waiting for me within the furnace He will be waiting for you, too. RUN TO THE FIRE.
