                        I Am Greater

Child of Mine, there is a lie that many of My own have believed and
I do not want you to receive it. The lie states that your enemy, the
devil, is more powerful than you are. This is a deception that your
enemy designed to keep you from stepping up to the place of battle.
He knows that I have won all authority* when I overcame sin and death.
He knows that I have given My authority to My Church** and that you
My dear one, carry that authority. He knows that he cannot defeat you
if he should you engage in hand-to-hand combat; so his strategy is
propaganda, to convince you that he is so much more powerful than you
are. But he is a liar and the father of lies***, and I don't want you
to believe what he is telling you. Do not be afraid to enter into the
battle when I lead you into it, for I am so much greater than the one
who opposes you.

It is true that there will be battles where you struggle and where it
seems, for a brief season, that the enemy is about to overcome you. At
times he may interfere briefly with the task that I give to you to do,
just as he delayed My angelic messenger to Daniel for three weeks. But
that is not power and it is not authority; it is just a nuisance to be
dealt with and removed. I dealt with it in Daniel's life by sending an
angelic reinforcement to assist My messenger to him. Precious one, I
want you to know that any time you enemy seems too strong for you to
handle on your own, I will likewise send a reinforcement to assist you.
So do not fear and do not be of little faith, for I am with you and I
will not abandon you. I am truly greater than all the power of the
enemy.

It is true that there will be times that the battle is uncomfortable
for you. But a good soldier does not whine and complain, nor does he
give up and quit--and I expect no less from you. There will be times
when you are wounded in battle, but do not despair. Remember that I
am the great physician and that I can and will heal all of your battle
wounds. So do not hold back from the battle for fear of being wounded;
for battle wounds will heal and the enemy's power against you is much
more limited than you think it is.

Remember that I am the God of all power and I have placed My power
upon My faithful servants. I have placed My Spirit within you to show
you what I am doing and what battles I am asking you to engage in. I
will lead you and guide you into the place of victory, for I have
called you to be an overcoming and victorious one. I have called you
to trample down any snakes and scorpions***** who get in your way, and
to walk in My great victory.

Do not fear your enemy the devil, and do not believe his lie. If you
will simply follow Me into battle and obey My command, you will quickly
learn that your enemy is unable to stand before you, because you go in 
My authority and you wield My power. I am much greater than he is, and 
I have given My authority to you.
