                            Come

I had a vision of the Lord standing before me with His arms open wide.  A 
feeling of intense peace pulled me forward.  He was surrounded by a white 
light and love poured from Him.  As love and peace saturated me, He laid 
this in me:

"Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.  I 
will take the burdens from your shoulders and I will give you peace, I will 
give you a straight path to walk on.  A path that leads to the light.

Turn away from the darkness and do not listen to the call of the world.  
The world offers many things.  Temptation.  Lies.  Deceit.  False joy.  
Everything that it offers brings you sadness and misery.  I am your hope 
in a dark place.  I am your truth in the wilderness.  I am by your side, 
no matter where you run, no matter where you hide.  I am forever looking 
upon you; you, the apple of My eye.  Stay away from the wolves who wear 
sheep's clothing and know My voice for it is soft and gentle and will not 
cause you confusion.

In the time of distress, listen to My voice of peace and go with it.  I 
have not come to confuse or alarm you, I have come to give you life, to 
give you joy, to fill your days with light.  Come.  Come to me.  I see 
your need, I see how you battle the powers of darkness and I am here to 
strengthen you and dry your tears.  Here.  I am here."
