                          Not What You Expect

I am the Lord God Almighty, and at times, I will do things differently 
than you are accustomed to. Some of you ask yourself, "Would God 
really do it this way?" Some of you will find yourself double-checking
and even triple-checking with Me what I have said to you--and then you 
still don't believe it even after I have confirmed it to you. 

At times it will be almost frightening for you to move forward with Me
as I seem to be meeting you in an unknown way instead of in the way 
that you are used to. I know that you find this scary. I understand 
that you are afraid to "go there" with Me. I understand your doubled-
edged fear: on one hand, you are concerned that if you step forward, 
you might misstep. On the other hand, you are afraid that if you lag 
behind, you will end up resisting Me and possibly even missing out on 
what I am doing. But remember, dear one, that I have not given you
a spirit of fear, and that My Holy Spirit indwells you to lead you 
into all truth and to guide you in the that you should go. 

This is a time and a season where I am teaching My own to trust Me. 
I do not want you to trust your impression of Me, nor do I want you 
to trust your idea of how I "should" work--I want you to trust Me! 
I want you to know with a certainty deep down in your Spirit that I 
am faithful, that I am good and that I will not lead you astray.

I also want you to realize that I am not going to be coerced into 
moving in the ways that men expect Me to move--for man is not My 
boss, but I am their boss. I am going to do what I am going to do-- 
and you, dear child, need to learn to trust Me. Trust that I know what I 
am doing and that My plans for you are good.
