                           Walking Free

I had a vision of thick, long chains. Attached to the chains were black
spikes. As I watched the chains, I saw a thick padlock. The chains started
to uncoil, then fall loose. The large padlock fell open and the black
spikes dropped off. When the chain and the lock and the spikes lay in a
mess on the floor, they lost their power. Then the Lord said...

"You are not a prisoner. You are not shackled. Be still and listen. You
are free. Free, free indeed! I have promised you that when you are in Me,
you are free indeed. There is nothing that will tie you down, lock you in
and make you a prisoner, for I have set you free.

You walk with Me and I am in you. Everything that comes your way and tries
to distract you is temporal. I have given you all you need to walk straight
and tall through all that your earthly life will try to throw at you. I
have given you strength; I have given you peace; I have given you power in
the name of Jesus. I have given you wisdom; I have given you a steadfast and
compassionate heart and I have set you free. So let the shackles fall, they
are not to be there for you are Mine. I have called you by name and I have
singled you out. So Walk tall and straight with all I have given you, and
know that I am Lord in your life.

If you do not have, then ask. Ask! Ask, for I freely give. I will send soft
winds your way and make grass a cushion under your feet. I will wipe the
sweat from your brow, for things happen, and they pass with the passing of a
season. One day you will face this, another day you will face that.
Remember that you can face all things through Me, for I have set you free
and I have marked you with My seal. I have blessed the words of your mouth
and the work of your hands. I have set you free from the world and all that
is in it. I will ensure you pass through the valleys and over the mountains
that appear in your life. I hold your hand and I am always there."
