The River is Flowing
-----

During our time of worship before the Lord this morning, I had a vision that was absolutely wonderful...my desire is to share with you and to encourage you that God is moving, no matter what circumstances dictate!

The Lord bless you all!

I began to see a river that was flowing very swiftly: similar to the type that canoeists enjoy! On the banks of both sides of the river were greenery of all sorts. The river was straight with no tributaries or bends...it went on for what looked like miles and miles!

I then could see people; men, women, children...the old and the young walking along both sides of the river. Soon, they began to jump in to the rushing waters. I could see people with life jackets on but they were stripping them off their bodies before jumping in! I could see a lady in a wheelchair, standing up and flinging herself into the torrent! I could see children running along the banks and then jumping as high as they could before diving in! I saw a man and woman dancing in the middle of the river: they were holding on to one another like you would if you were waltzing...the water was carrying them along but they did not lose their footing as they danced!

Then, I saw angels running along side the river. They did not jump into the water but ran along side...they were encouraging those who were already in and those who were getting ready to jump! I could hear laughter and shrills of delight coming from the people. I could hear rejoicing! Nothing was holding these people back from getting into the flow of the waters!

I believe that I saw the advancing numbers of people of all ages and cultures coming to the waters of the living God. Some may hesitate but the anointing is breaking the yokes: the life jackets are being replaced with life-preserving faith in Jesus! The lady who was in the wheelchair...I believe that she represents those who have been "disabled" either in the physical or spiritual realm. I also believe I know who the dancing couple were although they, too, represent thousands...I am excited for the children and for the youth of our nations who are being called and trained for God's service! The sounds of their shouting and laughter are still in my ears as I write this to you...

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Therefore we are unafraid, even if the earth gives away, even if the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea, even if its waters rage and foam, and mountains shake at its turbulence. There is a river whose streams gladden the city of God; the holy habitation of the Most High - God is in the city...!" Psalm 46:1-5

"He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy." Job 8:21

"You turned my mourning into dancing! You removed my sack-cloth and clothed me with joy, so that my well-being can praise You and not be silent; the Lord my God, I will thank you forever!" Psalm 30: 11-12

May we all be willing to "take the plunge" and be blessed in the river of God!
