                         Do You Remember?

My child, do you remember your earlier days when you were as bold as a
lion and stood your ground as you confessed My name, for it was the power
of God for salvation to those who believed? There was a time when there
was a rushing and an anticipation to spend time with Me, whether it was
reading the Word or prayer. Remember the times when you were just lost
in My presence while you worshipped or just soaked and rested in the
shadow of My wings? All the while you did this, your heart set on seeking
My face.

My child, in those days you had the faith to step out of the boat and on
to the water because your eyes were fixed on Me, the author and finisher
of your faith. You knew and believed with your child-like faith that you
could do all things through Christ who strengthened you. That made you
more then a conqueror in Christ Jesus.

But then the wind and the waves began to pick up and you began to look at
the storms and circumstances of life instead of Me and you began to sink.
But know this, My beloved, I have not left you. Though you may be
underneath the surface of life's waters and feel alone at times, I am
still the same God as you knew Me before, for I am the same yesterday;
today and forever.

My child if you would lift your holy hands in praise and cry out to Me
with prayer and thanksgiving, I will lift you back up and place your feet
upon the solid rock. And when the enemy rages in like a flood to push you
back down, you have the standard (Word of God) to raise up against him.
In this world you are going to have many tribulations, but do not fear
for I have overcome the world. For if you call out to Me, My child, you
will find Me if you seek Me once again with all of your heart. You are
never out of My sight; you are never too far for Me to reach down and
save.*

*save (sozo) in the Greek is sozo which means "to save, rescue, deliver and
heal"
