Moving with God

I would like to share a word of the Lord that's been on my heart so strongly the last few days. In Acts 17:28 Paul says "in Him we live, move, and have our being". We live, have Life and that more abundantly (we enjoy this great blessing!), on the other end of the verse it says "we have our being"....our IDENTITY. Yes, in this great verse we have LIFE at the beginning and IDENTITY at the other end (yet every breath we breathe).

Now, what we have in the midst of this verse is the difficult part: MOVE. One rendering in the Greek text defines move as STIR. As part of the Kingdom of God we have Life and Identity but it's always moving. This is the part of Kingdom living that can be so many times difficult for us. And, how does the Lord move us?? By STIRRING us! He stirs us for many times we would not move unless.

May we discern these stirring times and seasons of transition in our lives. Some things pass away (as Moses)...some things are taken away (as Elijah)....some things fade away (as John the Baptist). Lord, let us forcefully lay ahold of the Kingdom as it forcefully MOVES!
