How Long Will You Mourn For Saul...Arise and Anoint David!

As a result of the separating that is now occurring, God is raising up His true apostolic leadership. Many of those who are now being separated and removed from their positions had an apostolic calling. They were anointed to be Kings, but instead of receiving the heart of David, they chose to walk in Saul's armor.

On the outside they were head and shoulders above the rest, but on the inside they were insecure little children. They did not allow God to deal with their insecurity and they relied on their own strength. Their insecurity and self-focus turned into self-reliance and pride. God had to remove them.

Had they chosen to be a shepherd first and care for the flock God would have made them a King, but now they will lose their position and anointing. Had they chosen the heart of David, they would have had a legacy to leave. However, when they willingly chose to leave the will of God, their legacy was lost.

What should be the response of the prophet? Samuel had a perfect prophetic track record, "not one of his words fell to the ground". But he did make a mistake, he mourned for Saul, whom God had rejected. Finally God spoke to him and said, "How long will you mourn for Saul who I have rejected...fill your horn with oil..." and anoint a new king!

A few warnings. We must resist the temptation to "dance on Saul's grave." Let's handle with grace and forgiveness this coming transition. David honored Saul, and refused to harm him even when he was vulnerable. Also we need to deal with the Saul in our own hearts.

The word of the Lord:

Stop mourning what you wanted to see, and begin anointing what WILL BE!
This IS a new hour and yes a new day,
to My Church I am coming in power to stay.
Kings and apostles I will appoint,
then my church and my bride, I will anoint.
I've begun restoration I've begun it today,
and you can be sure I will fulfill what I say.
Now is the time and this is the hour,
to bring forward apostolic anointing and power.
Arise Oh David you shepherd of few,
I am calling you now to something new.
Arise feel my oil upon your head,
run away no more for Saul is dead.
I call you from caves, from pits, and from war.
Come to throne I've prepared you for.
The end is over, the beginning now,
I will teach you to rule, I will show you how.
Arise King David, bring in my Glory,
Dance and sing, take my pen, write my story.
The real King is coming, King Jesus is He,
but my church must stand up victoriously.
My teachers have come and my pastors too,
evangelists and prophets and not just a few.
But now I am calling to come in place,
my apostles COME NOW! I'm releasing my grace.
My church will be whole, my church will be free
then I will come for the whole world to see!
