                   The Armor of God

My children, I desire for you to be protected from the enemy. 
This is why it is imperative that you wear the entire armor of 
God and not just one or two pieces at the time. It is imperative 
that you are fully covered with each part of the armor in it's
appropriate place so that you can then stand and not fall. Let 
there not be any gaping holes that would enable the enemy to 
be successful with his strikes at you.

Let the belt of truth be buckled around you. Only My truth can 
be your standard. There are many deceptions in this world and 
those who try to understand truth by looking at things with their 
own eyes will end up believing lies. My truth is viewed through the 
eyes of My Spirit. He is your counselor. He is your teacher.
He will reveal truth to you through My word and also through your 
intimacy with Me.

Let the breastplate of righteousness be fastened in place. This is not 
a righteousness that you have to work yourself up to. It can't be 
achieved by your own efforts but is received by grace. Remember 
that this righteousness is not coming from you but it is My righteousness 
shining through you.

Let your feet be ready to share My word with others around you. I 
have called you to be My witnesses unto the end of the world. No 
matter where you are, there are always people who need to hear the 
good news. Be prepared to share anytime even if you feel tired or 
weary. Be assured that I will empower you to speak, I will anoint you 
to minister, I will give you the words to say for I know the people's hearts 
and know when a heart is ready to receive. While you look at the 
appearance of men on the outside, I look at the inside and what is in 
their hearts.

Let the shield of faith cover you so that the enemy's darts will not pierce 
you. I assure you that as you put your trust in Me the enemy will not 
have the strength and power to overcome you. As your hope is in My 
strength, in My word and promises, you will see Me rise up on your 
behalf and stand between you and your enemy. I will grant justice 
where justice is due, healing where healing is needed, restoration
where there is a cry for restoration and victory where I promised 
victory.

Wear My helmet of salvation. Does not My Spirit bear witness with yours 
that you are saved? Do not doubt your salvation. I am a gracious God. 
I am a faithful God and know that you will have times when you will 
stumble. Know that I uphold you with My right hand and catch you when 
you are about to fall. I will not abandon you.

Be prepared in season and out of season for I will call you when you
least expect it.
