The Journey

The Lord says: I have come to redeem you. I have come to let you know! There is an answer! There is a better way! I am the one whom you desire! It is I who will fulfill the cravings and yearnings deep within you! Stand alert and watchful! Look! On the horizon I come! I am here! I am your shelter! I am your strength! I am your protector! I have come to embrace you! I have come to surround you! I am your Big Brother! I will come along side you and help you! I will carry the heavy load, while you carry the banner! We will move forward together!

I see the mountain and say Hooray! Let's go to the top! You see the mountain and tremble and say Oh it is just too high. But I have been up this mountain before you. I know the shortcuts, the trails, the best way! I will take you there!

We come to a stream and I say let's cross over. You say, "It's so wide, I can't swim that far" but don't you realize that I will carry you? I will not let you be pulled under. We come to the crevice and you say "Well, we are as far as we can go. Nothing is ahead for us now." But I say, "Wait! I have been this way before you. I know the way! It will be exhilarating, and all the good is on the other side! Let's cross over!"

We encounter a storm, and you say, "Let's stop until the storm passes over. We'll hide in the shelter." But I say "Trust in me! I AM the shelter. I will speak to the storm and command it to cease! And together we will continue!"

And you say "How much further? Where are we going? What will we do when we get there? When can I rest?"

And I say "why are you so blind? Do you not see? Can you not understand? You are with ME. We are traveling together! We are climbing together! We are swimming together! It is ME! That is were you are going. With ME! And we are going NOW! And we will arrive together! Enjoy this time together. Embrace Me and I will hold you so tight, so close! I LOVE you so. My heart cries out loud! From the depths of MY Spirit, I cry OUT for you! I love you so! You are so dear! You are so precious! You are so sweet! I enjoy you so much! How I long for you to enjoy this time with me! I love you so."
