Sing For Joy

Sing for joy all you who dwell in the land!
Sing for your Saviour comes near to you!
Sing songs of deliverance...stretch forth your hands...receive...be satisfied!
For your conquering Lord is appearing before His people!

Stand still...for your Saviour approaches!
Stand still and listen...there is much to hear!
Stand still and be vigilant...the enemy crouches at the door!
Stand still and shout with a loud voice for the Lord declares war against His enemies!

Why do you hang your heads and sigh, O people?
Can you not see what is happening before your eyes?
Can you not hear the mighty roar of myriads of voices declaring to you this day...
Declaring continually the wonders of your God!

Stand still and see the salvation of our God!
For in Him alone is all honour, the glory and the power!
Give praise to the Name that is above all other names!
For the great I AM is mighty and He rides out in majesty!

For all creation sings for joy before the Lord!
He indeed is the beginning and He is truly the end of all things!
Power and humility adorns His shoulders...all heaven breaks forth in praise to Jesus!
The stars and moon fall down before Him...
The sun is a mere shadow compared with His glory!
Thunder rumbles across the earth praising its Maker...
Lightening dances before the Lord in splendour!
Mighty waves crash against the rocks in the sea...
They testify of His greatness to the sons of men!
The earth and all it contains is but a speck in time
Yet the favour and grace of your Father God found you!

Sing unto the Lord all you who call upon His name!
Sing anthems of praise...melodies of deliverance!
Rejoice in the Lord...lift your voices high!
Bring before Him all that is within you...Sing! Sing with all your heart!!
