                Your Life Is In My Hands

There are so many things you see in your life that need to be changed,
yet I would remind you that I AM the Master Potter. As I put you on My
Potter's wheel and you begin to turn around and around, trust in My
power and My Wisdom to keep you on the wheel so that you won't fall off.
As you focus on Me and remember My goodness to you, trust that I will
keep you in the center of My will, even as the piece of clay is at the
center of the wheel.

There will be times in the coming months when the wheel that I have
placed you on will seem to turn faster than you think you can bear.
Don't worry. My hands will keep you steady and you will not fall to the
left or to the right. There will be critical moments where an accelerated
pace is necessary for the work I am doing in and through you. There will
also be instances where the wheel will decrease in speed and almost seem
to come to a standstill. Do not take this as a sign that I have finished
with or abandoned you. These will be periods where you will need to enter
into My rest and learn to hear My still small voice. Whatever the speed
of the turning of the wheel, My hand will shape you on the inside as well
as out.

My hand will fashion your circumstances and your opportunities. My hand
will open the necessary doors and at the same time close those that need
to be shut. Trust in Me and trust in the direction I am taking you. Do not
try to resist My work by going the opposite way to where the wheel (My
will) intends for you to go, because this will only cause unnecessary
frustration. Trust that the times and seasons in your life and in the
lives of those around you are moving in accordance with My timetable. Do
not try to hasten that which should go at a slow pace and at the same
time, do not try to slow down that which I am accelerating.

Even as a piece of clay on the wheel is malleable and soft to the touch,
so also freely yield your hearts and wills to Me. For setting your face
against Me and resisting My work will just delay the process. Just sit
back and enjoy the ride. My Word says that "...he which hath began a good
work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Phil 1:6).

Do you think that I would bring you this far only to leave you as a
half-finished work? That is not My style. I make first class vessels that
are a testimony to all that I have done for them. Many of you do not feel
like you are first rate. Many of you look at your lives and only see your
faults and failures. Do you think that this will stop Me? Don't you know
that My persistence on you is such that I will work fruitfully and
diligently until you are a reflection of My Son Jesus. I am Lord of your
past, present and future. You see a half finished, far from over,
undeserving piece of clay, yet I see the day when you will be that
finished vessel resembling the person of Jesus. So quit trying and just
yield and let Me work away. I started a good work in you, and I am
faithful in this time to watch over My Word to fulfill it.
