                   So You Would Prophesy?

Child of Mine, you desire to speak forth My words and prophesy.  That
is a good thing to desire.  Have I not said in My word, desire earnestly
to prophesy?  

But I would say to you, that you must desire to prophesy for the right
reasons -- for I am a God that examines the heart and checks your 
motivations.  Do not desire to prophesy simply to speak with My authority,
for prophecy must never be about flaunting My power or about impressing 
people with the clarity of your hearing.  If you desire to be My 
spokesperson, then you must desire to speak with My heart and in 
accordance with My purposes and strategies. And your own heart must be 
pure before Me and committed to obey Me in all that I command of you.

I am looking for a people who will obey Me because they love Me.  I am 
looking for a people through whom I can speak forth My words and through 
whom I can show forth My glory in signs and wonders.  I am looking for a 
people who are committed to honor Me and a people who I can mature, that 
they may be vessels of My glory and carriers of My presence here on this
earth.

Child, I cannot use those who fabricate or those who speak grandiose words
or those who speak words that I have not spoken. My servants must put aside 
their own agendas and pursue only Mine.  I am looking for those who will 
hearken to Me and speak only what I have said.  I am looking for those who 
care more for My glory and My agenda than they do for their own, for I 
cannot glorify My name through those who are trying to make a name for 
themselves.  I cannot work through the ones who want to take the glory for
themselves instead of giving it to Me. Have I not said that I am a jealous
God and that I will not share My glory with anyone?

I am looking for those who empty themselves of ambition and who make 
themselves available to Me, to accomplish My purposes in this earth.
I am looking for those who are trainable, teachable, and those who 
yield to My Spirit.  I desire to work My character and My glory in them
and to conform them to the image of My Son. Those are the ones through 
whom I desire to speak and those are the ones upon whom I will release 
the prophetic in their lives.

Child of Mine, will you allow Me to work within you?  Will you allow Me 
to empty you of the things of the flesh that you might be a carrier of 
My presence and of My spirit?  Would you allow Me to transform you that 
I might work My glory through you?  Would you allow Me to change your 
desires and ambitions to better line up with Mine?

I am looking for those who will come to Me and say to Me, "Father, not My 
will but Yours be done." Child, are you one of these?
