Driver, Driving and Driven

These words kept being spoken to me this morning from the Holy Spirit. Driver, Driving and Driven. I kept hearing the Lord as us some questions. Like who is in the driver seat in your life? Who is in the drivers seat of the churches life? Who really controls everything you do or say? Who is Lord of your life? Every area of your life?

Are you tired of driving yet? Are you tired of trying to find the way? Are you weary from trying to work it all out on your own? Are you really finding all that you want and desire by being in the drivers seat? Are you content where you are finding yourself? Or do you yet feel that void, that emptiness? So you keep driving and driving searching for things that will fulfill and make you happy. Are you willing to give up the control of the wheel of your life yet? Are you ready to trust me with your whole life? Knowing I do not provide empty and meaningless trips. Knowing that in me you do have a purpose. Do you not know in me is all you need my children?

Why do you go searching here and there?

Why do you not come to me anymore for all your needs? Have I failed you or left you? Have I not proven myself to you over and over again? Have I not said it? Will I not do it?

Are you driving and in control or am I? Are you driving and in control or are you being driven? Are you in control of these areas in your life or are they controlling you? To what do you yield your members to?

Are you being driven by your lust and passion and desires? Or are you in control of them and leaning on me for help in these areas? Are you driven by anger, hatred and bitterness or are you bringing forth fruits of the Spirit in your life? What is it that drives you? What is it that you no longer have control over in your life?

Come running to me my children. In me there is forgiveness. There is peace and rest at my feet. Allow me back in the driver seat again and see if I will not provide all your needs. See if you cannot be complete in me and find wholeness and healing in me. I have gifts that I desire to pour out to my children. I have life to give to my children. I have had to hold some of these back from my children because I am no longer in the drivers seat. Put me first, seek me first, come running after me my children not other things and I will open the flood gates once again in your lives. Healing and deliverance will flow. You will become strong once again. You will have purpose and a vision once again. Only that which is done for me will last. Spend your time and running wisely. Run toward me, spend your time with me. Do my works, speak my words. When I am back in the driver seat not only will you see healing in your own life but you will be able to effectively touch others and see healing and wholeness and fulfillment come to them as well.
