Out of the crib

I had a brief dream, almost a snapshot, of a baby in a crib. The baby is very small, the crib is very large. And the bars of the crib are very prominent.

It seemed the Lord was telling me something. I think it is relevant to some individuals and the church at large.

I love you My children. I long for you to come to Me as children run to their father. So delight in Me. Enjoy My presence. Receive My love. Come to Me in childlike openness, childlike humility, childlike trust and obedience and childlike dependence.

BUT...

You must not stay forever in the crib. Do not confuse childlikeness with immaturity. Leave your cribs of comfort. Leave your cribs of the ever and always familiar. Leave your cribs of irresponsibility, leave your cribs of spiritual infancy.

Step into maturity. Take up your calling. Walk into your destiny. Live as mature, growing, purposeful citizens of My Kingdom.

And know this, My child, that I love you.
