Announcing: Praying To Obtain God's Best in the On-Line Prayer and Intercession Training Series

The Prayer School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the prayer-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevant to prayer and intercession. Courses include:

The Building Blocks Of Intercession

Mondays, beginning Mar 9, 2009; lasts for 16 weeks.

Course Contents/Description:

John Delaughter is a seminary graduate and ordained minister, but the Lord has led him to work in a secular capacity in a government agency instead of in full time ministry. John is an accomplished intercessor; he prays regularly for his pastor and for serveral leaders in his own church, including Teresa Seputis. He has been involved in many forms of prayer and intercession for a lot of yeras.

John is on staff with GodSpeak International as the Staff Intercessor and Intercessor Coordinator. One of his duties on the GodSpeak Staff is to help train and equip the GodSpeak Intercessors on how to pray effectively and pray in a manner where your prayers get answered. John moves strongly in the gifts of teaching and prophesy, and he has been doing a special training series for the team of GodSpeak intercessors on The Buliding Blocks Of Intercession. The material was originally intended just for the GodSpeak intercession team, but it was so good that we felt we needed to pass it on to everyone on the prayer-school email list.

In this teachings series, John will look at a lot of the character issues that we have to deal with in order to become more effective in our prayer and intercession. The specific topics this course covers include:

• Assurance of our own salvation and standing in Christ
• How to deal with past woundedness so that it doesn't hinder our prayers
• Grief and how it effects our intercession
• Brokenness and Intercession
• How faith effects our intercession
• How to grow in our faith and vision
• How our personal dreams/vision and destiny effect our intercession
• How to step into our personal destiny
• Entering into a covenant with God
• Prevailing in prayer
• The prophetic and intercession
• Overcoming condemnation

This series will truly help you learn to pray in a way that will enable you will obtain God's best in your own life and in the lives of others.

(The "Prayer-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to prayer and intercession; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
