Prayer-School Mini-Course Series

Announcing: On-Line Prayer and Intercession Training Series

The Prayer School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the prayer-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevent to prayer and intercession. Courses include:

#1 Beginning October 12, 1998, Richard Lang taught a 8-week series on

"Effective Prayer"

The course covers subjects like: how to effectively pray for our needs, learing to pray from The Lord's Prayer, persistance in prayer and importunity, peristance in prayer and our "Rights" and/or "Vindication", looking at the roles of "asking" and "demanding", praying without ceasing and blessing.

#2 Beginning December 7, Teresa Seputis teaches a 10 week series on

"Dressing for Intercession ...Or How To Avoid Holes In Your Armor" (Details about this mini-course are enclosed below).

The series will continue beyond the announced course topics.

Simply subscribe to the prayer-school list. This will automaticly enrole you in the course. Lesson material (teaching) will be sent out on the list on Mondays. All course-related discussion will be on the prayer-school list.

Dressing For Intercession(or How To Avoid Holes In Your Armor)

Mondays, beginning Dec 7, 1998; lasts for 10 weeks.

Course Contents/Description:

A 10 part teaching series preparing ourselves for effective intercession. The first three lessons deal with various strategies the devil tries to use against us to disqualify us or make us ineffective, with an emphasis on how to overcome those strategies. Lesson 4 looks as the spiritual armor and why we need to put it on. The following 6 lessons take an indepth look at each of the pieces of armor, why it is needed and how to put it on.

(The "Prayer-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to prayer and intercession; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
