Week 8 Activation
Seeking God for Very Specific Details
I believe it is the desire of everyone here to come up to a higher level of faith and anointing. That means we must set our vision on that higher level and "press in" to receive it. That's what we will work on in this activation...
We are going to break into pairs and ask God to give us very specific details for our partners.
A word of encouragement: this is a training environment. This is the place to take a chance and try. No one is perfect or an expert. We are all learning. Try to get beyond your fear and enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of a deeper level of ministry. DON'T BE AFRAID OF MAKING A MISTAKE. That is how we learn. Please also remember that the focus here is on doing your best, not on getting a 100% "God word".
I would like to demonstrate this for you. This is an excerpt for an IRC class where the same activation was done:
prophetjw: Doug, please pick a person at random for me to minister to DougE: Cindi_E prophetjw: Cindi I see a fun loving child in you prophetjw: I see you at an early age with a favorite pet, looks like a golden colored dog prophetjw: I also see a lot of activity, playing hard, but quiet too prophetjw: God has a quiet contentedness for you prophetjw: Then I see a boy from next door prophetjw: as you look at the front of your house from the street, he would be on the left prophetjw: I hear the name David prophetjw: he had a crew cut, light colored hair prophetjw: I also see brick for the house prophetjw: God has given you a dynamic nature and he sometimes puts a whirlwind within you prophetjw: this can cause you to loose your peace, thought that is not God's intention prophetjw: I see a whirl of activity in the house, vacuuming, cleaning, but no joy in it prophetjw: I see a decided distaste for housework prophetjw: but a strong desire to have a more dynamic flow of the Spirit within you prophetjw: in fact, it seems that a minister (missionary) preached and it made you prophetjw: hunger for a greater flow of ministry prophetjw: he preached on dedication to serve the Lord, and death to self prophetjw: you want both, but it is a bitter pill to swallow prophetjw: Lord, I thank you for the way you have made Cindi prophetjw: she is still trying to figure out her motivations, and I pray that you will prophetjw: bring clarity to her prophetjw: and that you will ignite the giftings you have for her prophetjw: even though she almost talked herself out of them prophetjw: and her husband had to push her into them prophetjw: yet she is glad to move on prophetjw: Lord I release for her a grater confidence and joy prophetjw: at flowing in your Spirit in Jesus name. prophetjw: amen Cindi_E: amen prophetjw: Cindi, do you relate to any of that Cindi_E: yes, lots of it except David boy next door Cindi_E: dog, and other stuff...and housework prophetjw: did a boy live next door to you when you were a child? Cindi_E: in back of me prophetjw: did he have short hair Cindi_E: at one time, red hair prophetjw: what was his name? Cindi_E: Mike in back of me Cindi_E: there was a David way down the street prophetjw: did David have anything to do with you? Cindi_E: I dated him a couple times
Now you all see what I have in mind. Let's go minister this way to our partner. Let's pray first:
Lord, we take authority over fear; and we release freedom, joy and boldness let everyone experience your Spirit in Jesus name. amen
Father God, please cleanse me by the blood of Jesus. Jesus, wash away all of my sins. I accept your shed blood and the sacrifice on the cross, and I agree with your Word that I am now clean. I ask for a greater measure of faith and anointing for this activation. I want to come up higher and challenge my faith to flow in a greater way. Please say whatever ever you wish through me and help me to hear in Jesus name, amen.
