We had just prayed over the offering and everyone sat down. The next worship song started.. and I felt a strong yearning to stand up and honor God during this song. But, since I was sitting in the front row, near the center, and I was mindful that it would really call attention to myself (and folks would look at me instead of at Jesus) if I stood up then... so I tried to stay seated. But the Lord's presence was so strong that I could not help myself.. I stood up to Honor Him and I raised my arms upward in praise.

As I stood up, it was like I was walking into a vision. I saw a sea of people standing before God's throne.. their arms uplifted in worship. God seemed to focus my attention on the hand of one person in the mass of worshippers.. and as I looked at that hand, the beauty of the Lord seemed to come upon it. When God's presence was in the worship, those participating in the worship were incredible beautiful... because His glory and His beauty were on them.

Then an invisible hand held this huge diamond before my eyes. It was the size of both my fists.. and it was incredibly beautiful. It glistened and reflected many lovely colors. I watched it for about 5 minutes.. it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Then I realized the Lord probably had a reason for showing this to me. So I asked Him what it was. The Lord told me this was one of His "true riches." That term is very meaningful to me from a teaching Jack Deer did on tithing. He expanded Luke 16:11 and taught that we had to be faithful to God with our money (tithes, offerings, etc) if we wanted Him to give us the True Riches.. e.g, His power, His anointing, healing, the miraculous, evangelism, etc. So when God said that diamond was one of His true riches, I understood Him to mean an anointing/impartation to move with Him in His power to do kingdom work.. maybe healing or prophecy or signs/wonders or something along those lines.

As I watched the diamond, it was carried by an invisible hand and placed into the worshipping hand that God had shown me earlier. Just as it was placed in the hand in the vision, I felt something being placed in my outstretched hand... my hand automatically cupped around it, and I realized the diamond had been placed in my hand. I stood there is astonishment.. feeling the weight of it in my hand. And I realized that this piece of God's "true riches" had been given to me.

I was amazed.. even astonished. Then the Lord explained to me that it was not being given to me personally, but that I was representative of the church, and He was giving it to us as a body. God is placing a deposit of His True Riches in us.. that will empower us to pray for the sick and see them get healed.. that will empower us to walk in His victory and anointing, to speak his words with authority, to see the unsaved set free and ushered into His Kingdom. God is releasing His power in us, it is available to us if we choose to put Him first and be committed to obey Him and serve Him and walk close to Him. He is offering His true riches to us.. people of God, let us receive them and be about doing what the Father is doing with Him. Amen
