Three of us have formed a local group (we're praying about the Lord adding to our number but we had originally planned to do the activation on instant message but we think now that we've seen & prayed over the first training that face to face will be better. Because of difficulties meshing schedules, we plan to go Sunday evening which will work well, since we are copying to our Pastor, Vinny Gallagher and he can then give us any input he wants to before we meet.
However, all three of us feel this is excellent material and already a blessing that will grow and expand us. We're excited to be a part of this school and thank you for your hard work putting it together and for the opportunity to participate!! And, personally, for all the words and interpretations we're seeing, that is a great help and encouragement to me. Haven't been given anything relevant to add to any yet but sure that will change as we settle in and feel more comfortable with it.

Well, in reply to all of the above questions, I would have to answer YES!!!!! I would like to share what happened with mine and Trudy's e-mail activation this week, with the hope it will benefit others on the school.
When I received the lesson and activation e-mail, I e-mailed Trudy to say Hi and that I had the materials and would be going over them shortly. This helped tremendously, because I got a friendly reply from Trudy, which put me at ease. We also agreed on approximately what day we would send in our prayer.
On the morning that I sent in my prayer, I did not check my e-mails for her prayer. I didn't want my prayer to have any response to her prayer for me.
Now here's where I'd like to share what was hard for me about this. Number one is that I'm an intercessor, and while I'm used to the Lord speaking to me and showing me what He wants me to pray for others, this is usually done without any expectancy by the person I'm praying for - because they don't know I'm praying for them. So I'm relaxed, no fear. Although the lesson was wonderful, and I really liked the prayer that was included, I still struggled with doubt - that the Lord would guide me in my prayer for Trudy. I was having a hard time realizing that His ability to speak to me is greater than what I believe my ability is to hear.
The good news is that He was faithful and He did guide me in my prayer, and Trudy did confirm that some of what I prayed was right on. What did I learn? I've had to repent for not trusting Him. That if He's called me to do something, He will provide the tool (gift). I'm beginning to learn to risk! This is very hard for me. I want to get it right!
The other thing I want to share is what Trudy heard for me. I believe this is okay with her. The reason I want to share it is for those of you who might be having a hard time risking. This experience was a real blessing for me - all because Trudy was brave enough to risk:
Trudy sent me the following: (I'm not going to include the whole vision, although the whole vision bore witness to me, I only want to include what I'm pretty clear on)
"For you, I see a kitchen with the old style porcelain, white sink, with two taps, one spout... and an adult woman (dark haired) with her mouth right over the spout, drinking ALL the water... none escaping.. thirsty... oh so thirsty... usually a child would drink like this... but I see an adult"
Now when I received that, my eyes became very wide and my mouth dropped open!!! Trudy does not know anything about me at all and this vision spoke so loud and clear to me. What Trudy did not know was that in the past few weeks, I have been sooo hungry and thirsty for more of the Lord. He does this with me (I always want everything He has for me), but I've been unusually thirsty. I had been struggling with how He was going to provide for me, but knew He would. God had been speaking to me all last week through a dream and friends that I was in a time of preparation, that He would satisfy my thirst.
What I received from the vision was a confirmation from the Lord. I was in the kitchen, which is a place of preparation :-} and in that place of preparation, I was being supplied all the water (nourishment) I could get! Also by the way, I am dark haired and my sink has two taps with one spout.
Well, I know this is long, but I hope it encourages some to risk because I was oh, so blessed by Trudy's vision and her willingness to risk!

My partner and I are on the e-mail "medium". Her prayer and vision touched precisely on a major issue of healing regarding self-acceptance I am in the midst of right now. Even the night before I received her e-mail I was reading about the issue in a Leanne Payne book...it was sooo encouraging to get such an affirming verification that Jesus is interceding and wanting this healed, too! I am really excited about whatever the rest of this course brings...it seems like along with the teaching and activation, He plans to do a fair amount of healing and encouragement along the way!

Friends,
My first activation lesson with the aol group last night was so much fun! I hope that is spiritual enough! (grin:) It never ceases to amaze me when God takes our willingness and teaches and blesses and stretches--Just because we show up.
What an awesome Father He is.
I had two partners, one prayed for my "bum" knee which of course she didn't know about, and one prayed for leading in my new "Ministry", which I have just begun, which of course, she didn't know about either. Isn't God good? With one, I was able to share teenager woes and we prayed blessings and protection. It was at once both exciting and sobering, to realize that we really can do this and therefore, we must.
Thank you Jesus, for giving us the extra push we need to let you stretch and grow us. Thanks to all our leaders who made it possible.

Our group had same experience...God would give something but we would draw back, rationalize it away, get fearful etc. He was talking ...we weren't putting out much of it. So, we'll grow in grace and truth.
I have been thinking over what a priviledge it is to hear from heaven, how "regular" it is (not so gradiose) and how easily we let it slip through our fingers. Whenever God speaks, He accomplishes something...when we let it slip by , it's like a missed opportunity for someone else to be blessed or helped as well as blessing ourselves and blessing Jesus.
I hope to be able to put more self aside, my whinning thoughts aside...and

I was stretched.. with even the teaching. Mostly because it lays out truth that goes even farther than my own estimation of "who is qualified" to minister. To be specific, when I read the section in the teaching where Paul addressed the church at Corinth which was dealing with problems, such as divisions, quarreling, immaturity, carnality, arrogance and presumption, sexual immorality and such, how he didnt instruct them to stop ministering or disqualify them, but rather he instructed them in the correct way to receive and to do the work of the ministry. Paul was able to do this because he trusts the redemptive power of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ! Wow! I have to admit that I have considered myself (and others) "not ready" to be released with such major problems as the Corinthians were being chastised for. Challenged my view, for sure.
I really appreciate the exhortation with C.S. Lewiss egg/bird example too! How you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg...that while it may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird; it would be a "jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg". Later there was an exhortation that "we grow in our proficiency in the gifts as we use themso use them". I just think for the one who lacks a sense of courage or feels inadequate, this teaching shouts "WE ARE ALL QUALIFIED TO BE MINISTERS OF CHRIST"!
As for the activation exercise, I was part of a group that did the activation "on-line" in an AOL chatroom. I was fighting some feelings of intimidation and inadequacy up front. I thought it might be awkward to pray in a group on- line (not able to see them or their expressions face to face). And I was somewhat intimidated with thoughts like, "Its been so long since Ive been used like this, I feel so rusty and maybe nothing will come." Or, "There will probably be those in the group with much more experience, and itll show." (honest thoughts) I was majorly blessed though! I even got paired up with Donna herself (who was facilitating this) and none of the feelings I had going into this were there once we got together on-line. By the way, Donna did a great job facilitating!
Her and I were paired up and God was surely there with us! All feelings of inadequacy and intimidation were gone! (we "did" pray in faith that we would be able to receive and without hindrances) Words came quickly and accurately! Both of us were hitting it right on the mark! In fact, it was sometimes as if we were sending the same things to each other simultaneously! Almost the same word! I know we dont have to "feel" anything for it to be genuinely Him, but we were both touched. Gods presence brought a release of joy to me (and her) and I was then so overwhelmed with His presence and how He was moving that I began to weep. We were both aware of His compassion. Donna does have the Father's heart of compassion! Definitely no inhibitions praying this way. The anointing was obvious and sweet. Surely we were both blessed and encouraged! About the time we were finishing another in our group joined us late, so Donna paired me with her (the other Donna).
Again, this could have been an awkward situation, I felt I was about to be stretched... but we went into prayer with ease and I was certainly comfortable. Again, God brought calm to the situation and we were both able to bless each other. (God ministering through us!) HE DID IT! With pictures and words that we could both relate to. Cool!
Thanks for this opportunity! Ive really have been idle in this area for a while and need the training!

I have been blessed all week by the prayer that my partner prayed for me. I was walking in a place of discouragement and had been having a really hard time getting on top of it. My partner's prayer spoke directly to some things I had just asked the Lord about the night before. I really felt the Father's love in it. I was also very encouraged by the lesson. I am very new at this and tend to struggle with a lot of self-doubt...but after reading the lesson I was so encouraged. I felt my faith had been stirred up and I prayed expecting to hear from Him! Not only did I have a fruitful time of prayer for my partner...I had some really sweet fellowship with the Lord. I am sooooo excited about this class...can't wait until next week! God bless you all!

Praise the Lord! (For those of you who don't know, I am the one in charge of the AOL Group.)
Well, last night was our first AOL Activation Group 101 session. As I was praying about it, a tremendous peace came upon me. I knew God was telling me, as only he can, that He was in control, and not to worry nor be concerned about it. Now mind you, in the natural, this makes no sense at all... cause (telling on self here.... sigh) I am a slooooow sloppy typer, and I was going to have to type in all the instructions and prayers and such! (Uhhhh we won't even talk about my spelling....that's a whole other story!) <grin>
Teresa was nice enough to call me and pray with me before the group started, and I was able to share with her my peace about the whole thing. Thank you Teresa, for all the hard and extremely time consuming work you have done to administrate this School! God Bless, you my sister!
OK back to my story... We had 10 (eleven counting myself) show up for the group, last night. A few were somewhat afraid of the... "spooky spiritual side of the prophetic," and were a bit nervous. Some had no idea God would actually speak through their "prophetic prayers to bless another person." There was a bit of fear there as well. However, God did indeed show up, and all left without fear, knowing God had sovereignly blessed them. And I believe all want to return next Thursday evening.
Things that jumped out at me: The entire group was hungry for God! What a blessing to be with those who love the Lord! Their extreme willingness to bless each other. A group member, when asked what "jumped out at her," said..."this group seems to have integrity." Another said she usually shied away from, "coffee, tea, and prophecy, but this was Holy Ghost inspired!" And one of the comebacks to that statement, that let me know they had really gotten the point of the whole activation, "we were going at it, not from the point of view of what can I say to you from the Lord, but what does the Lord want to do for you?
I really appreciated the laughter and the fun we had when we came back together to interact. I appreciated the joy that God brought to each one, it was clearly evident. What a change there was, I sent ten, somewhat hesitant ladies off to pray for one another... God got a hold of them, and sent back ten radical relieved women! Can you tell I was and still am really blessed!) <grin>
We had only one minor snag... it was about screennames and we will easily work that out.
On the personal side, my partner, Linda, (Hills929) was right on in everything she prayed for me. Thank you Linda. She also helped enable me to return to the chatroom and facilitate it, by taking on a new partner, who came in late, arriving when everyone else was busy doing instant messages. Linda really made her feel welcome. She was extremely gracious, you could just feel the love flowing from her! Thanks again Linda, you are a blessing.
But my most heartfelt thanks goes to God. Thank you Father!

I'm not very experienced on line, and praying on line was definitely a new
experience. Then I "arrived" to class late. I was feeling a bit nervous.
Everyone welcomed me; I felt the presence of the Lord as I began praying
before and after I met my partner. Was I stretched? Yes, I believe so! As I
began seeing things as I prayed, I hesitated a moment ---I've never shared
visions and messages with people I'd never met before---and the Lord spoke to
me and said, "There are no strangers among MY people." I felt so encouraged!
The vision my partner had when she prayed has led me to seek the Lord about
some things and to wait on Him before proceeding .

I am on IRC activations. Apart from having taken 20 minutes to connect, week 1 was great fun, very interesting and wonderfully encouraging. When praying for people in person, I find seeing them can be helpful, but it can actually get in the way of hearing God, because it is easy to be influenced by what I see with my physical eyes. The IRC medium has removed all that - I have to trust the Lord totally which is a wonderful lesson to learn. But what I found was that, once I started, the words just flowed, and the feedback I received from my partner was that certainly a big chunk of what I prayed was 'on the ball'. What he prayed for me strongly witnessed with my spirit, and was a confirmation of things which have been going on for me in recent weeks. I was very excited by reading the material prior to doing the activation. If the rest of the course is even half as good as this, there's going to be no holding me (except the Lord of course!)

short synopsis:
...pray for our unknown e-mail partner. So..... asked Holy Spirit to show me for this man (my partner) ..... & saw VERY CLEARLY a thread and needle!!
Now Chris, seeing a thread and needle for this man, total stranger, married, age between 50-60, and that's all I know about this person -HA! I actually said this to The Lord in my prayer, "...a thread and needle Lord ! ...Lord, a needle and thread???!!", and I laughed (& here, I sensed The Lord laughing with, & at me, - very lovingly :).
Anyway, to make a short story longer, I typed my brief prayer to him which had to do with God sewing up some seams and ripped areas of his life, clearing out any 'loose threads' hanging in/from him, and just doing some 'Holy Patchwork', so to speak.....then I had to be VERY courageous, and hit the 'send' button....
Low and behold, he finally responded (took a couple days [sweat] :-O) that I / Holy Spirit :) had 'read his mail' ! (Just share this w./you Chris - Basically it had to do with he and his wife leaving their church, & now recently being sent back there - by The Lord, and how God is 'cutting off' all the 'loose ends' in this venture / & in his life - doing some mending, and so on... )
.....I was slightly amazed (actually my mouth dropped open, as I read his short post), & really happy at the same time, Chris. My confidence in my ability to hear/see Holy Spirit input grew tremendously, in this very first lesson!
Again I say, "Thank You Jesus, and Chris!!!"

How wonderful to hear personally for ourselves. The love of the Father blessed us. Our group has been excited about participating in this prophetic training. Thank you for this opportunity to grow in this gift.
Personally I was impressed with how much the Father loves us, and how important it is for us to take the time to be alone with Him. Tuesday night was our first meeting. there were only three of us. I mean four of us (the Holy spirit came too!!). We had a wonderful time of sharing over the teaching part (these are my old buddies and what should atke about 1 1/2 hours to complete took us nearly 4 - so much to share). One of my friends had a great revelation given her during the teaching and got free of some doubts. And when it came time to pray we were really blessed. We took turns praying with each other and the Lord spoke to and through each one of us. Some of the prayers were bang onspeaking to definite areas in our lives, some were encouragement to us. There were one word prayers and 20 minute prayers. We were all blessed and cannot wait for next week together.

We had just finished the Thursday PM (12-00 to 1.00 EST) IRC activation.
It went really well. There were 9 of us and God spoke to each one. We started with prayer then I typed in the 'set' prayer which we all joined with! Then folk went away to be alone with pen and paper for about 10 mins. . .then we all shared in turn what we had written.
Actually, it was humblimg to be part of it. One person, a minister from Hong Kong, had stayed up until 1.30am to be able to participate. . . that is commitment! It was a revolutionary way of prophesying, folk from Uk, Hong Kong, Western and Eastern US together in 'real' time. I think the use of IRC will increase as a tool for the kingdom. I am excited about the possibilities.
However, much prayer is needed for the technical side. . . a continuing job for the intercessors, Teresa! We all experienced difficulties, the lag was horrific. . .I have never known it so bad in the daytime (Nearly 400secs for some). Interestingly the lag stopped at exactly 1.00pm (EST) which was our pre-selected finishing time! For me, my line dropped just as we went off for the silent time, then the server would not "recognise" me and I kept being refused entry to the undernet. . .I changed servers several times then had to restart my computer as I decided it must be a memory conflict. That has not happened before, normally if the line drops I just reconnect. Happily, I could write on my piece of paper as I was pressing buttons! And I got back on in about 10 mins just in time for folk coming together to share.
But in spite of the lag, etc, we all persevered and all got to share. It was good.
Looking forward to tomorrow at 7.30am when we have our next session.

Hi there! My name is Christine Barranco and I have been lurking on the list for months....I am a fairly new Christian, having been tapped on the shoulder by God 2 years ago this Father's Day....I attend a non denominational church, moving in the prophetic and God has used me in this prophetic way from time to time....I am pretty overwhelmed by the whole thing, but I have learned to be obedient....so here goes....
Week one was very good with a very encouraging word spoken by my partner and my sensing a word which seemed to bless my partner. I seem to get pictures a lot..and I was unsure as to how to "pray" the picture, but I tried. After the prayer, we discussed the picture and that seem to add to the blessing for my partner.
This week I knew I couldn't be at the IRC session with folks so I did the exercise on my own. I read the Bible first....I am always worried that the words that I get are from me and not God at all....but as I began to write , my spirit told me right away that this was God.....even though what He said was hard to hear, I was so at peace with it and knew it was true. God was asking me to spend more time with Him, in many ways and He promised that I would not have to worry about finding the time....it would be there....it was a wonderful word!!!
I am so happy that He has chosen to guide me to this place to learn more about His gifts and how to properly care for them!!!

Good Maritime Morning all you prophets:
I just can't keep in what God is doing in our group. We had our first group last week (homegroup) with 12 people showing up. The spirit moved so powerfully last week, and word got out of this and this week we had 20 people show up. The group is large but really refreshing. Most that are coming are new in the prophetic. We are all enjoying these exercises. Last night we had to put a cap on anymore coming to the group, because we would like to develop relationships with those that are presently coming. And we want it to be a safe place for people to share. Although this doesn't seem to be a problem in the least. Most are very excited about learning more about the prophetic and not afraid to ask any questions or to participate in the exercises.
I find, with myself, the stretching for me is actually facilitating a group this large. I haven't done anything like this before, but enjoying the extended boundries that God has allowed.
Will keep you posted on more of what God is doing in the snowy Maritimes.
Looking forward with anticipation for week #3.

If I'm not mistaken, I was your partner during the activation of week one, and was so blessed to read your update! The picture God gave concerning me is still touching my heart and 'turning' me toward Him, and I am really happy to read about your week 2.
I have not known the prophetic in my own life at all, or... well, barely. Until this course, which I entered with a famished heart and anticipation/trepidation at letting down any poor soul who got stuck with me as a partner. That first irc activation spoke volumes to me in the Spirit, and the second one, (which I also could not attend on Friday so I managed to catch the Thursday one) was a total knock out. Blessings on all of you in Him! What great days we have to look forward to till He comes!

In my case I read my bible last, but this proved to me that yes God was speaking to me personally. Let me explain. I woke up with a heavy heart over some things going on in my life. It is truly these times we seek to hear from God. Thank God for this course because I am of the nature that seems to have difficulties recieving incouragment. So I think it's me just wanting to hear. I heard the following,
Loose your hands from the ways that may have worked in the past. Begin to raise your hands to Me in worship and praise and I will show you the way. Look to me and keep your focus on me and not the the things the world has to offer. For they are temporal and momentary. I will not leave you nor forsake you. For I will show you where to go and where to walk. I will restore your beauty and strip away layers of ugly deciet. Come away with me to streams of refreashing. With water from this stream I will cleanse, I will heal and restore. For I am a finisher of all that I do. I desire to restore the beauty deep within. For out of a mans heart are the issues of life. If I allow an old wound to become reinfected it's because it hasn't been properly healed. Though this process hurts it must take place. Will you trust me in this process.? Oh how I desire to make you whole. Refreashing comes only after an awarness of your deepest thirsts.
Don't be heavy in heart , look up for your redemption draws near. Do you as parents not seek out the best doctors for your children. Does your heart ache when they are not well? So much more does my heart ache when I see your tears. I will heal you completely from within.
So I wrote this down to send it to my parner to get confirmation knowing she'll tell me the truth. I opened my bible to read for a while and the very page I opened to was Isaiah 30:18-26. God himself confirmed alot of what He said to me! I was deeply moved. Expecially since I've never took notice of this passage before. Thank you Father, Son and Holy Spirit and thank you for Your Word.

Dear List Friends,
I know I am excited! I registered late and did not really have a partner to pray with. I forwarded the lessons to a friend and he challenged me to join with him. The devil stood in our way, but finally we got together Saturday afternoon to pray. I have just 3 words-- Fab U Lous! We got together and talked for a while. Rick had already prayed for me and had gotten the word 'Compassion' for me. Compassion for the lost and compassion in other areas. I shared with Rick that Compassion was the subject of the sermon last week and some things that God had been dealing with me about (too much to go into now, but his word was right on)
I felt like I was way under pressure now. I do not believe that I have the gift of prophecy but I have had some hints and dreams. We started to pray and Satan interfered again with noise and distraction. So we moved to a back bedroom and kneeled down. I was silent and all of a sudden the word 'Worship' popped into my mind. I felt that it was God speaking to me so I prayed that into his life. Rick is a gifted musician and writes music. But he shared with me that he felt he was slowing down (we are 40 somethings.) Most of the praise team in his church is under 25 and his voice is not as strong as some of the 'whippersnappers' ;). I prayed that he might sing a new song and write more music. That he might lead his congregation into new heights of praise and worship. He shared that the word was right on and where his concerns were.
I'm pumped! I'm excited! This is great stuff! Let's do some more (even if I am a week behind.)

I had a really neat experience yesterday(Monday) morning. My wife had our daughter (7 months) on our bed and while lying there, my daughter picked up a medicine bottle with a rubber squeezy thing on top. As she laid there chewing on the top of the bottle, the Holy Spirit showed my something neat. The medicine bottle had a child proof safey top to it and while I noticed this I received information(?) from the Spirit. He was conveying that in God's Kingdom are many keys. But some still have a child proof seal on it. We can handle these keys or principals, and even chew on them, but because of the prohibition put on them, we cannot have them completely--YET. I realized that a great source of our frustration is similar to those children that try to open things desinged for them not to. They try and try but to no avail. We hear a new teaching, listen to a new tape and we immediatley try to open it up and ingest it. Yet out of love, God does not permit us to partake, YET. Heavenly principals are wonderful. They are a joy to our hearts, yet it is all about timing. Our Papa loves us so much that He puts safety caps on things we are still to immature to ingest. As we grow, He gives us more and more confident we can handle it. I sure love our God!

Week three has been wonderful. I think I heard that the gifts and calling of the Lord are irrevocable. As you know your natural talents, know your gifts and calling. Ask and it will be given to you, knock and it will be opened to you, seek and you will find. Seek to develope your gifts and calling to fullness in your life.
Jennifer, my group, said that it was right on. Someone else had given her a similar word just the previouse week, and this reinforced it. Wow! isn't God amazing?
Jennifer gave me a much needed word. I sence love for you. It is very tender. He loves you so much that You take His breath away. He gives you gifts because He loves you. You are a beloved daughter as well as His bride. You really are loved. Recently, I have been dealing with things in my own life that leave me feeling discouraged, and there is more work to do. This word reminded me that I'm not alone in this, and that He loves me anyway.
It gives me encouragement to go on.

Well we started our activation each of us looking for a quiet place, my friend went out to her car, my son whent into the front room and layed down... and I stayed in the kitchen, when we finished our writing we all got back together and my son had a harder time with it..he was hurting so badly with aches and pains in his neck and back..we told him we would pray for him..My friend Sandra read her letter.!! and wept while she was reading it.. did it minister to her.. Jesus kept loving her and telling her how much He Loved Her.!!! two pages worth.. I read mine 3 pages.!!! Jesus wrote a love letter to me.. starting out with Darling Dottie.. it was so intimate.!! He really loves me.!!! He talked about His Redemption in my life and my families and His faithfulness.. How He desires for me to know Him so I can be poured out to others.!!! We all were so lifted up in our spirits.!!!
Then Sandra and I prayed for my son Ron and the Lord touched him mightly and really ministered life to him.. He told us he felt so much better, with a surprised look on his face has he said that.. My husband was totallly asleep during the whole thing.!! We prayed blessings on him.. He came home last nite around 2:a.M. and fixed the computer for me and left a note on it .!!! Thank you Ray.!!! I love this class.!!! can hardly wait till next week...

The vision spoke of a break through in financial and spiritual blessings. Half a day later, somebody called me and offered me a quick consulting job (an emergency ) paying pretty well. Amazing!!! This has been very interesting. God seems to be confirming somethings to me through this exercise. I am on the IRC activation group.
The first week, when we did prophetic intercession, Amy prayed for me and one thing that was very meaningful is that she had an image of me taking on responsibility... and that I would be a good husband and father. And she didn't realize that I am getting married soon.
This 3rd week, for One-on-one sharing, David gave me one word, "fatherhood." I was trying to figure out if this meant in terms of my relationship with God or actually being a father. I felt it could be interpreted either way. My relationship with God, because He has been speaking to me about rebuilding intimacy with Him after a period of getting off focus. This is what He seemed to be saying to me the 2nd week, when we did prophetic journaling. Then Teresa asked God for a word for all of us in the group and she saw a picture of me holding a baby, and understood that not only would I be getting a wife, but a family. That even if the pregnancy is difficult, that I should trust in God, because it would be a healthy baby.
To me this seems to be a 3 way confirmation of me being a father someday. But I now realize that David's word can be taken both ways. In order to be a good father to my children, I need to keep a close relationship with the Heavenly Father. I am enjoying this a lot!

Lil: Praise be to God...This morning I put into action the fist principle of hearing from God...He said very healing words of love to me. This past weekend was the first time the Father went from being my Father to being my" Daddy"....All my life I never had a Daddy....when He showed me this; I broke down and cried like a little girl...(I had been running from this for a very long time) It's amazing how some- thing so simple can have such an impact one's life; And can keep them from knowing who the Father really is to them.....He is not some "Big God in the Sky" who reigns down with discipline when I misbehave..He Loves me know matter what...Lil I have known this all along....BUT it's RHEMA TO ME NOW...Getting from the mind to the heart is how I make it so complicated.... For me it has always been a "trust" issue.

My partner's prophecy was so accurate that it brought tears to my eyes. Without revealing information to other prospective partners, I am sending this to the Core leaders. Lisa received a word about the God loving our daughter very much, and as she stated, (If you have a daughter). Our daughter will be 30 years old in Feb.
Her prayer for me was also quite prophetic, in the acknowledgement of perservering.
It will truly be exciting to see confirmation that she has the gift of prophecy throughout the 101 Activations training.
(My results for her were "dilute" to say the least. I am a willing 'student' and although I have MUCH to learn, at least I've begun learning.)

Hi all,
Week 3's activation brought a special blessing. Nearly everyone in the group gave a verifiable Word to their partner, which in itself was exciting. But God also gave me a special blessing.
Years ago I had a rather unusual laugh; a real Genesis 21.6 laugh. (God hath made me to laugh, [so that] all that hear will laugh with me.) At some point during these last 15 years of loss and struggle and heartache and turmoil my Genesis 21 laugh died. (Or at least I thought it did.) I have laughed over these years, but not like I once did.
As my partner and I prayed, and shared, and talked, God brought a real release to both of us. Off in a room by ourselves, we began to laugh, and the more we laughed, the greater the release. We came our of that room an hour later! Refreshed, revived and feeling light and alive.
When I later told my husband what had happened, I mentioned that at one point I heard myself laughing my old laugh--and I was caught off guard by it, because I hadn't laughed like that in so long. He smiled a tremendous smile and said, "All these years I have been praying that God would give you back the laugh you had when we first met."
Just had to share that.

We had another of my intercessor friends join us this week..so there are now four of us (I sensed to make six copies of each lesson - I feel we will end up with six patricipants - I copy the lessons and put them in a binder for each of us with pages for writing down our prophecies and prayers etc,)
The intercessor friend that joined us is a lady who had much abuse as a child and in a terrible marriage. She has a lot of doubts about herself. She came feeling like she wasn't sure that God would talk to her...and guess what?...she was the one He gave the most intimate message to :)
Well, we all heard very intimate things from the Lord and were surprised at just how much He had to say to each of us. The thing He told me that stands out is that He WILL fulfill all the promises that He has made to me. And that He told me He has given me the key to His Inner Chamber. That when I came there, He would answer all my questions. That He was watching over His Word to me to perform it. He called me to come deeper into His Inner Chamber.
Can't wait for next Tuesday :)

We have increased to 6 and had 5 members on-line from all over the world, literally. The session started slowly as a few of the members were not well and the enemy had attacked others. Once we got going though, the words were generally accurate and the prophetic anointing began to flow as the session continued.
One thing that is developing is a good trust one for another which will enable the prophetic to flow even greater in the weeks ahead as barriers (they were slight anyway) come down even more so and we just relax in God and move as He moves us.
The ICQ group has grown to 7 with a further addition for wk4. God bless.

I hope this little note will be of great encouragement to all invovled in the planning of the prophetic school course. Post it--or not--as you see fit.
On Monday morning's I format the week's lesson on the word processor (to save printing space and costs), so I just sort of skim over the lesson as I work. What I saw this a.m. is so very exciting. The teaching this week (4) includes some of the EXACT Words that came forth at our Friday evening week -three meeting! "We have to learn to Covet the gifts," one man shared. "Stir up the gift that is within you," came from the other woman in the group. A personal, private word for one individual (written down, so as not to make anyone ill at ease) was that perhaps what has been holding back the free-flow of the Spirit in his life was the casual, cavalier attitude he has had concerning the Gifts. (If they come, fine; if they don't, that's fine too. Since he's been a believer for nearly 20 years, that may need to change.) This thought was included in the week's teaching, worded as "not despising" the Gifts. One of the words I got was that we need to "earnestly desire" the Gifts, and there it is in the teaching.
This is very exciting, don't you think?

There are 12 of us in my little group.. last night was our third week of meeting together. We start with about 1/2 hour of worship and prayer, then we have about a 20 minute teaching and then spend the next hour doing the "activation"... or workshop exercise together. Most of the group has been really excited to see God move through them as they step out in faith to hear God's voice and do the exercise. One lady, P-, has been finding this very difficult right from the first week. Each week's exercise builds on the previous week's exercise, so they keep increasing in difficulty. I was becoming to get concerned for P-, hoping she would not become overwhelmed.
Last night we broke into 3 groups of 4 people ... and had a tape recorder in each group... and each person in the group of 4 took turns being the one who "recieved" words while the other 3 asked God to give them words for this person. Each person had their own tape and the three others would record their words for this person on their tape. P- had been uncomfortable to give words both of the previous weeks.. I was afraid she'd pannic when we started using the tape recorders. Instead, a holy boldness came over her.. she shared very accurate words that ministered deeply to the folks in her group... speaking confidently into the tape recorder. I asked her what happened to her.. she seemed like another person.. she realized she simply could not do this, so she let God do it through her... and He did! What a blessing for everyone in the group!
Last week another lady M- was so sure she would not be able to hear God's voice speaking to her.. we did an exercise where we asked God to speak individually to each of us and then wrote down what we heard Him say.. Then we came together to share what God had said to each of us. She was uncertain and hesitant to share, but God really did speak words of encouragement and love to her... it was like God did mouth to mouth recessitation on her.. she has blossomed and is now excited about hearing God speak to her. She is starting to become bolder and more confident and seems to have more joy. It is so neat to watch folks learn to hear God's voice as He speaks to them and see the fruit that evidence in their lives!

Last Wednesday and Thursday we experienced our first prophetic class. We had 14 people present Wednesday night and 3 Thursday morning. Most people flowed freely. But a few wanted to make a program out of the "suggested" prayer. Then during Activation some prophesied instead of following directions and doing the prophetic prayer. But, all-in-all, it was a huge success. There were a lot of tears, and raised hand, when I asked how accurate their partners were.
Living Word Church is taking Ephesians 4:11 serious. The leadership see themselves as equippers. I am not a teacher. I am a facilitator. You folks are doing such a beautiful job of putting all the prophetic material together, I would be ashamed to ruin it by attempting to teach it.
Instead, I simply hand out the written TEACHING and ACTIVATION. I ask the students to read the material, and any outside reading, and be ready to discuss it the coming week. Of course, the discussions have a tendency to raise the dead (dead religion, dead dogmas, and dead theology). But, thats the we lean! Isnt it? By making ourselves vulnerable, taking a chance on being ridiculed or misunderstood, being teachable and receiving correction is the way I see that the disciples learned from Jesus. "Oh, you of little faith. How long do I have to be with you?"

Holly and I just wanted folks to know that we have been very very blessed by the first three weeks of activities in the prophetic school. It has been a very exciting time and we praise the Lord for every minute. We especially thank Jesus for the prayer partners we have had. Their words to us have been a double blessing and very spot on.
As the saying goes, they have been reading our mail. It is just as if they were present when Holly and I have been praying and the Lord was using them as a stenographer to write down and give us the very answer to our prayers that we had been hoping for. Thanks be to the King of kings for such precious people - not just our prayer partners, but all of the folks in the prophetic school.

Finally we had our first meeting tonight- there were four of us this time - I had no idea the folks I told about the class could be so annointed- maybe some of it will wear off!
We met at seven and did not break up until 11:30- slow to begin because of tight schedules we used the extra time to get acquainted and praise Him in song and fellowship. And then as the lesson plan progressed there were more things to share- a few were prophets alone and standing for the Lord for years with no support from other brothers and sisters in Christ so there was a lot to be said and when we went into prayer there were words of reassurance from the Lord, confirmation of words received at other times, etc. Even one of us who was very uncertain came forth with some real words!
School and leadership core- thank you on behalf of these ladies who have been wandering out there wanting to serve with no one to train them- the quality of the material is a blessing to us all and it will really be used to give God the glory-

That was a wonderful time on the activation wasn't it? I am just feeling so full of the Lord right now, it's really difficult to concentrate on work. The one strange thing I have found is, when I am hearing God for other people, using the keyboard is wonderful and the words really flow.
But when I was listening to God for myself today, I gave up on the keyboard and went back to pen and paper. Nothing was flowing when I tried to type, but as soon as I took a pen, it started to flow really fast!

Hi all,
We interceded for the prophetic course (prophetic core, intercessors, hardware, etc.) in the beginning of our activation group. And we had a tremendous intercessory time.
One of us sense that God is calling the intercessors at a higher level of warfare, with a higher scope.
I had the image of a kind of black skein. This skein is nerves of the body of Christ. This skein is our two schools, they are part of the nervous system who relies and coordinate different parts of the body. The prophetic and the prayer schools will have a major part in the building/edifying of the Body of Christ. This nervous system will grow and extend.
The activation drove us to act for one of us who have hearing problems. He is not healed now, but he sensed unusual things in one ear (to be continued...).
Several of us know a brand new easiness in the expression of the prophetic gifts, since we began the course. It is so easy to hear the voice of our dear Daddy. Some experiment deep inner changes. Thank Lord for what you have done in the first weeks.

It's nearly half way through the course and my wife Nel and I would like to thank you for your efforts and commitment so far. We are really enjoying the school and learning much.
In the past we have faciliated and taught prophetic workshops in our local church. We have also attended various other prophetic schools, seminars etc. in that past. You are running a quality school.
As someone involved with EMail lists and the Internet in general due to my employment, I can appreciate how difficult it can be running a school such as this. You have no way to vet or meet people who join - this is the nature of the media (Inet) we are using.
All I can say is that you are really appreciated here downunder.

I appreciated receiving the information on this week's "activation" exercise even though I'm not signed up for the class. I was encouraged by it because God has had me doing this very thing for some years now and it's been one of the biggest ways He has drawn me into intimacy with Him and helped me understand His love for me PERSONALY! I'm not saying this is the only way He's used, but it's been such a blessing to me. I've found that through doing this, sometimes He goes into things not just for me but for the church, too.
I've also had to learn more and more to come to rest, to not "strive" to hear. I don't know if this makes sense to you or not, but one day I was out of rest, striving in my quiet time with Him, trying to get "quiet" and all of a sudden the words came to me "pull down the help menu" and I thought, "Oh, here I go...getting more distractions" but then the thought of maybe it was God speaking and in that split second I knew it was Him and He was telling me to look up to Him, to His Holy Spirit, to help me in my time with Him...to just rest and let Him take my hand and lead me through it the way He wanted to :) I don't know about you, but it made me laugh...the terminology He used with me. It also reminded me He wasn't all uptight and rigid about our time. It freed me to enjoy Him more :) Just thought I'd share that cause it was a little thing, but a big encouragement to me in this area of waiting on Him.

Hi everyone,
We have been so blessed by the prophetic-school course over the last few weeks that its time to write and tell you how things are going.
This course is timed and pitched just perfectly for our church. I showed the introduction and pastors letter to our pastor before Christmas and he thought it was worth a shot. We formed an activation group of our pastor and his wife, my wife Eileen and I, our full time evangelist and another church member. We approached it with evaluation in mind - test it our to see if it fits our church, whether it was American culture orientated - that kind of thing.
Well after the first week we were *very* impressed with the teaching. The subsequent weeks have also proved the same. It is not specific to American culture at all - it is all 100% Bible, this course promotes the culture of the Kingdom of God - excellent stuff. In each week there has been gems of teaching that we have picked up and given a freshness to aspects of prophetic ministry we'd learnt about before. Particularly the teaching on prophecy being used to encourage and everyone desiring to prophecy has been good for us.
The activation exercises have also been very encouraging to all of us. We have have been to conferences on prophecy, given the word or picture and so on, but we've never done any real training. My wife in particular has had some very negative prophecies given to her in the past and was very unsure about taking part. But all of us have got a great deal from the exercises. Week 2 - tuning into God's voice and receiving personal encouragement from him - was a real blessing to us and will be something we'll add into our quiet times. Yesterday's was Week 3, one-on-one sharing. We both gave and received relevant words of encouragement, my wife in particular (who previously said she did not have this gift until the teaching encouraged her anyone can hear God) gave a very accurate word to our minister's wife about something really deep in her life. Both of them we're *really* blessed by this.
We are eager for each weeks meeting now and intent to integrate this course into the teaching programme in our home groups over the next year.
We want to say an enormous thank you to all those putting this course together.

Subject: A Word of Knowledge
Very early this morning a dear friend came to my house (4:45 am) very distraught. She was in the throws of great fear. As she shared some things and as my husband was praying in the spirit and travailing for her, the Lord gave me a Word of Knowledge. I remembered what I learned in Prophetic School 101, and as John was praying I Stopped, Looked and Listened. In my "knower" I just "knew" what the problem was and shared the word of knowledge, prayed a scripture (given to me by the Lord) and a simple prayer of deliverance and she was gloriously set FREE!! Immediately her face went from gloom and depression and torment to joy and release. We three celebrated the goodness of the Lord.
IT WORKS!!!!!

Wow!!! That is the main thing I want to say. The Lord met me so powerfully this morning, I am still wobbly. Last week during the activation I was heavily attacked and fled with out a word and isolated myself. I didn't know how to communicate my fears to the others and as this was a new group for me (as a group, although I knew many folks individually). I spoke to the leader of our group and thought I was ok. This morning God came to the group and showed me in very specific ways how to share failure and be supported by the group. I feel that the group has coalesced in a new way now, that the trust built this morning is far reaching.
The vision I received was of a great heron, a large gray-blue water bird. It was standing in water and then it took off, gracefully and began flying around. It was looking for insects...but it is really supposed to eat fish. I sensed the Lord saying that this bird represented the group...using the prophetic, learning (standing) at first , then taking off and flying. It was suggested that the insects were distractions that we were not to pursue, but rather we were to be fishing in the river!! From there 2 different members admitted that they thought that they were not hearing from the Lord because of what they considered to be failures on their part. (Coming late, listening to office conversations). The group immediately responded by praying against condemnation and asking for covering for them...There were other visions that supported the idea of the group working together to fulfill God's purpose. I know my simple explanation in no way describes the incredible excitement we all felt as the spirit of the Lord took over and carried out His agenda!!! Praise Him!!!
I felt that the Lord had spoken to us all through this lesson. I am so in love with Him!!!
